Making the Dream a Reality

The Village of Buzaniro is nestled in the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda where families live off the food they grow and the livestock they care for. To collect water from local sources, women and children walk four hours per day up and down steep hills. Population growth and unsustainable farming practices are creating soil exhaustion and unproductive land. Many families struggle with poverty and suffer from malnutrition. Climate change and COVID have exacerbated these challenges. The Dream Village program creates a new path forward.
